Un grupo de amigos se reúnen todos los años cada cinco de abril a recordar la muerte de su ídolo de juventud, Kurt Cobain, este año sin embargo algo ha cambiado, tres de los compañeros no asisten, lo que los lleva a reflexionar sobre sus vidas y quienes son quince años después del suicidio de Kurt. Ricardo y Ariadna, quienes son pareja desde la adolescencia, se enfrentan a las dudas de saber si el amor también se lo llevó la juventud. Cheo, el único amigo que los acompaña, verá en el conflicto de esta pareja un reflejo de su soledad y los tres se confrontan a los sueños no realizados y al significado de la palabra libertad
